1 Answers: Uber + TESLA Self-Driving Car?

I’m not sure this is the right place to post this but whatever:

Has anyone heard of a (future) business/company thinking of providing a subscription based car service?
I was just listening to Elon’s 2017 TED talk and there was mention of this potential idea how driveless cars would be rather registered under a company than an individual and they would provide a self-driving vehicle whenever you need one (work etc.) This would completely change or at least put a dent in the car market because certain people (yes, some will always want their car) would stop owning one and just use the subscription lol. Cars would be operated in rotation by various people 24/7 (eventually).

If someone knows of a business or anything related to this please let me know!

It seems to make sense. One would not even need to own their own car you could simply equivalent of Uber everywhere with these auto driving cars.

It sounds like a crazy future and I do feel bad for the taxi drivers, but what are you going to do?
